[Later in the evening, whether answering a knock on she door (to find no one there) or returning home from wherever she may be,Pyrrha is going to find a garment box wrapped in festive paper with a bow on it and an envelope taped to the top. The envelope reads "To Pyrrha. Do not open until Christmas!" If she opens it now or later, this is what she'll find:

In the envelope is a card! It's a fairly generic happy holidays card, though the outside and inside have stickers added. On the inside of the card are some cute little doodles of cats or snowmen or reindeer and a note:

Merry Christmas Pyrrha! I don't know if you'll remember me, but we talked at the slumber party! I just wanted you to know that I had a lot of fun, and it could only be as fun as it was because of everyone who was there, so along with a Christmas gift, you can think of this as a thank you gift too! We should all do it again some time, don't you think? And then we could talk even more! Though if you aren't busy we could talk any other time too, yup! I bet it would be fun!

In the thin garment box is...a stocking? Yes! It's a stocking! It's red with gold trimming and glitter covering it, as well as Pyrrha's name carefully penned in with what looks like glitter fabric paint. Inside this stocking is what you would expect in any stocking. From the toe to the top, it's filled with candy and a variety of smaller items, such as: Two bracelets made out of braided gold ribbon, one decorated with white beads and one decorated with red beads, as well as a small hand carved wooden figure of a dog, painted white with little black spots all over it! There are also two vouchers for a decent sounding burger joint (not McCeres) in there, with a note taped to them that reads "Here! You and a friend should go out and have a yummy lunch together! I bet they'd like spending some time with you!"

Lining the top are five candy canes, neatly hooked over the edge so they are just peeking out!]

[ on the eve of christmas, pyrrha (or jaune!) will find two, neatly-wrapped parcels sitting on the front step of their apartment. one is labeled for jaune, and the other is labeled for pyrrha herself! in pyrrha's package, she'll find a diary and a note that reads: ]

Dear Pyrrha,

Merry Christmas. I noticed you have opted not to attend schooling here, and that just seemed a grave tragedy to me. The education system of Cerealia is surely missing out. But with that in mind, I thought you shouldn't be deprived of intellectual outlets, so I hope you find this diary of some use.

[ cinder (and everyone else in cerealia) had heard about the state of pyrrha's well being from the network the other day. while her contribution to aiding jaune's valiant quest of "getting pyrrha better" was incredibly minimal, cinder did have other plans in mind. plans that were diametrically opposed to pyrrha's teammate, unsurprisingly.

rarely does cinder ever does her own dirty work but this was quite personal. something, although relatively minor, she wanted to get done by her own means. the fact that the invincible girl was severely weakened meant cinder couldn't pass this opportunity for... well, a variety of things.

hence why cinder is standing outside pyrrha's apartment with a container of pumpkin soup in hand, some time after jaune had gone to his work as (and if she remembered this correctly) a street sweeper. she rings the doorbell to alert pyrrha of her presence and considers calling out to her if necessary. ]
